Why? Because you already have a shared connection — your patients. And trust is a huge factor here. You don’t have to cold-call strangers; you’re simply tapping into an existing relationship.
👉 Pro Tip: If you're not already asking about your patients' other providers, start now! Add it to your intake form, and start collecting names. Each one is a potential lead.
Now, let's talk about finding the decision-makers. Cold calling can be rough. Instead, start by getting involved in groups where the people who say "yes" to Lunch & Learns (and similar opportunities) are already hanging out.
Here are some places to consider:

Here’s a shift in perspective: You’re not going into a Lunch & Learn to talk about yourself for 45 minutes. No one wants to listen to a lecture — and, frankly, that’s not how you build meaningful relationships.
Think of the Lunch & Learn like a first date. You’re bringing lunch to connect, not just to “pitch” your services.
Ask questions that help you truly get to know the other practice:
💬 What services do you offer?
💬 Who is your typical patient?
💬 What excites you about your work?
Let them talk about what they love. The more they share, the more connected you’ll feel. After they’ve opened up, that’s when you can talk about how you can collaborate and support each other — but only after listening first.
