The Easter Egg Leadership Exercise: Learning by Doing

In one of her team-building sessions, Natasha Saavedra brought her team to an open field filled with Easter-egg-like prizes: cash, gift cards, and fun items. Each team member had to get from one side of the field to the other, but they could not use the same method as anyone before them.

What happened next was incredible:

  • Some cartwheeled

  • Others used wheelbarrow lifts

  • Some rolled, skipped, or did somersaults

The same goal, but different mechanisms for each individual. This showed the team that creativity, initiative, and fun can help achieve KPIs in ways no one imagined.
